    I am in 11th grade and I am going to play softball for my school it is fast pitch.
    I need to know the typical speed the pitcher throws the ball at.
    Only answer if you know for sure.

    Im a freshman high school pitcher and I have always thrown just fastballs. I want to know what to throw to be successful.

    if i throw high 50's to low 60', going into 8th grade, do i have a chance to pitch in high school?

    I throw around 59-62 mph. Im very accurate with cutttting the knees and painting the corners. My curve breaks averege and my change up is pretty good. I almost never throw it in the dirt, and can throw about 4 to 5 innings without loseing velocity. Do i have a chance as a High school pitcher? (i also am an all star catcher =))
